WHAT WE DO

INTERPRETATION OF CURRENT DATA
Calypso is specialised in the interpretation of current and tide data and potential repercussions of circulation conditions on environmental management processes.

FATE ANALYSIS
Calypso applies fate analysis modelling to Search and Rescue, oil spills, waste water outfall, and marine farm scenarios. Particle tracking methods (Lagrangian or Eulerian methods) are applied to predict impact and/or locate objects.

IMPACT ASSESSMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCE CONSENT
Provision components for Environmental Resource Consents for renewable energy, marine farms etc.

HARBOUR PILOTING APPLICATIONS
Creation of datasets for use in pilot simulators.

TOOLBOX CREATION
Creation of bespoke toolboxes (Python, MATLAB) to allow optimal use of results by end-users.
